Hello, my name is Mutsumi Sagi.

I’m from and currently live in Tokyo.

I am a graduate Rikkyo University with a degree in B.A.

I have over 20 years of experience working with the English language.

I have completed 6 months course work for J-Shine and obtained a teaching certificate for elementary level school students.

I try to make English learning as fun as possible by engaging with each student and getting to know them one by one.

In my experience, students are more likely to learn when they are having fun.

We use famous nursery rhymes from the Mother Goose and we play a lot of games.

はじめまして。

鷺　むつみと申します。

出身は東京で現在は東京都小平市に住んでいます。

立教大学文学部英文学科を卒業後、就職、子育て、再就職をしながら2020年3月まで、小平市内の大学の職員として28年間様々な業務を経験し、英語にかかわってきました。

既得の教職免状（中学・高校英語）に加え、小学校英語準認定指導者（J-SHINE）の資格取得研修講座を約6ヶ月間受講し、修了しました。その後、IIEEC（The Institute for International English Education of Children) Teacher Training Centerにて約2年間"Model Action Talk Method Basic Seminar in Osaka"研修講座を受講し、2021年11月に修了しました。2024年現在もIIEECのトレーナーを中心とした自主研修会の一員として活動を続けています。（追記）

アルクの子供英語教室（Kiddy-Cat英語教室）では子供たちと共に学びつつ、一人一人の状態を把握しながら楽しいレッスンにしたいと考えております。

私の経験から、子供たちは楽しければ楽しいほど、より学ぶ意欲も高まります。

レッスンでは昔からよく歌われているマザーグースの童謡や、ゲーム等の遊びもたくさん取り入れています。

The main purpose of this course is to achieve a practical use of English as a language for beginners.

Classes will be performed by an instructor who is trained to give a 50 minutes lecture every week.

Students who decided to participate in this course, must buy the course materials selected

by the instructor before the first class.

For students, who have difficulty in understanding or who missed a class for reasons such as sickness or other official reasons, a makeup class will be offered at the end of the term.

Parents have an opportunity to get feedback from their instructor at the end of the term.

The number of students in each class ranges one to six.

In situations where the number of students exceeds seven, a new class is created.

This applies only for those students who are beginners.

The terms of the course are as follows.

このコースの主な目的は、英語を学び始めた生徒の英語の運用能力を獲得することです。
クラスは毎週50分の講義を行うよう訓練されたインストラクターによって行われます。
このコースへの参加を決定した生徒は、クラスの初回までにインストラクターをとおして選択したコース教材を購入する必要があります。

病気やその他の公的な理由で理解が難しい、または欠席した生徒のために、学期の終わりに補修授業を行います。
